Thermal Windows Woes. As thermal windows age, they lose their vacuum seals and condensation forms between the layers of glass. Eventually they become unsightly and sometimes even opaque. Cul-de-sac - A street or alley that is closed at one end.
Origination fee - A fee charged by most lenders to cover the direct costs of arranging the loan; also called points. A point is 1 percent of the total loan amount.
