Cindy's Selling Tips

Make sure that your front door is at its very best. Paint or refinish it if needed. Make sure all the brass work is polished bright. Fix that broken doorbell! Add a seasonal wreath, if possible. The front door should welcome buyers to your home! Read more at Fixing the Exterior of Your House.

Thermal Windows Woes. As thermal windows age, they lose their vacuum seals and condensation forms between the layers of glass. Eventually they become unsightly and sometimes even opaque. If you have badly fogged windows, you should consider replacing the glass. It will certainly be an issue for your buyers! Read more at Fixing the Interior of Your Home.

A Few Real Estate Terms

Principle of progression - An appraisal term which states that real estate of lower value is enhanced by the proximity of higher-end properties.

Setback Line - A line established by a zoning regulation prohibiting any building beyond a prescribed distance from the edge of the property.
